Freebooter shows facts about public boat listings, such as price, length, year, make and location, with our own judgments of them and a link to the original. We don't copy listing text, and we don't show sellers' photos on any public page. If something of yours is here and you want it gone, email hello@freebooter.app and we'll act on it within three business days.

Sellers

Send the link to your listing on the marketplace. We'll delete it from Freebooter and keep it from being collected again. Selling the boat or taking the listing down also removes it from feeds once we next see it's gone.

Marketplaces

If you run a marketplace and want us to stop collecting from it, write from an address at your domain. We'll stop collecting from your site and delete what we hold from it. We collect a handful of pages per area per day and honour your robots.txt; if something in how we collect troubles you short of that, tell us and we'll change it.

If you believe something on Freebooter, or something we link to, infringes your copyright, send a notice to hello@freebooter.app with:

We remove or disable the material promptly. If we removed something of yours by mistake, send a counter-notice with the same details, the material removed, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the US federal court for your district (or, if you're outside the US, any district where we may be found); we'll restore it within the time the law allows unless the complaining party sues. Notices that misrepresent infringement can carry liability under 17 U.S.C. 512(f).

Anything else
